Privacy

Short version: no accounts, no tracking cookies, and your pool numbers stay on your device.

Calculations

Every calculator runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to a server to get a result.

What’s saved on your device

Your pool volume, unit choice and last test readings are saved in your browser’s local storage so each calculator starts with them. They never leave your device. You can clear them at any time:

AI features

When you press “Explain my results” or use the troubleshooter, the readings and text you entered are sent to our server and passed to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to write the answer. We don’t store these requests or use them to identify you. Don’t include personal information in the text box.

Analytics

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless tool that counts page views and referrers in aggregate, to see which calculators are useful.

Chemical safety

Results are estimates for planning. Always read and follow the product label, add chemicals one at a time, and retest before adding more.
